Is the HL2 engine a totally different engine or it still shares some similarities?

I play HL2 mods pretty much every day. The Source engine is SOOOOO much easier to modify than any other engine out there. I love the physics and all the special effects and great graphics. It's all very easy to program in too. Trust me, moving on to Source is a good thing for all of us.

And I sure wish that this mod would work on HL1 Source.

What crack are you on? Gotta be the hardest engine to make mods for evah. SDK is almost entirely third party and wikis.

not only that, u need like 3 or 4 differnt programs just to get your skins on to models then u have to know this script just to make ur skins do certain things... its hard...

You could use Photoshop and MilkShape.
