Messages not appearing until two minutes after?

I was playing MS:C and realized every single time i typed a message or even tried to pull out a weapon, it would take two minutes before it would actually happen. Any idea what is happening? I restarted MS:C, steam, and finally my computer. same results >:|

Does your in-game name start with a space or a different character that's not a letter or number? Because that's one of the things that causes this bug. Having non-letter/number characters in your name might also cause this.
A guy called " Demonic Blade" (note the first space) once joined me in-game and everything got ****ed up and this one time I made a char called "tl;dr" and the same bug happened.

I've had this before but it was temporary, it was related to lag issues that caused me to see text messages a few minutes later, samething goes for the item switching and all.
I say its either your internet having small issues, or you are getting huge lag spikes and possibly joining a server with a laggy map/many players in it(i can proove that this is true, even chat/mic spamming makes the game work like this).

Last time i got this same issue was like 2 weeks ago when i joined around 6 people on mscave while they were doing the quest there(i was last to join), i was having this same problem untill everyone in the server got kicked except me, then i got kicked aswell when people reconnected, then i reconnected and both my UGA/bloodstone dropped and vanished upon loading my character, then got kicked again 5 seconds later.
After this weird moment, everyone joined again and it started working fine for me and everybody else. So basically there's alot of stuff that can possibly be messing up your game.

I just had an issue with someone just like this, but much more, including crashing me out of the game.

Ye can try changing your name - possibly removing the space. Check in with the head priest at Edana.
