Well at SC 10 I think you get lightning storm, so it's quite possible

also, where can you get a lib other than ms_snow? compared to ice orcs the ice djinn is a piece of cake

Only insane specialists try to get level 10SC without leveling past level 10 in everything else. We don't balance this game for people who make it deliberately hard on themselves.

The LIB (and occasionally LIB tickets) drop randomly in some other spots (although you don't have to kill anything to get it in ms_snow - it's purchasable). It also, currently, seems to be popping up in at least one store it shouldn't (outside of ms_snow).

i just find it really really REALLY annoying, since i used ages killing that blue orc to get a good blade to train my swordmanship to 15 so i could use GIB and now i need to get another blade again...bah!

Just get a PSB, it works pretty well, just no freezing action. It does good damage to undead as well, which is a drawback of the ice blades.

I think Blizzard is all around the best spell there is.

My main issue with lightning storm is the propensity to crash servers, and that it keeps spamming sv_startsound's not precached errors for some reason. Gonna have to figure whadup with that.

Hrm, maybe I just need to train my ice more. It's stuck at level PAIN IN THE ASS, where it does little damage (aka 18 )

Tis not the damage, so much as the ability to slow large groups of monsters that also stacks with Stun attacks.
