A king crab would be cool. You know, that japanese giant crab with long legs.
You would need to chop his legs to attack his body, the crab doesnt move but summons li'l crabs, attacks with his pincers, shoots strong water streams, etc.
If you notice on the legs, top left (or top right depending on which one), the UV is a bit stretched. The lines seem to be criss-crossing into each other.
Best way to unwrap, is to apply a chequerd material to the model, and then, tweak the UVs so that the squares from the chequer material are square on the model. You can't get it perfect everywhere, but its the best way.
I'm not re-animating the spider, the models too shit, same with the rig. I might see if I can convince my GF to remodel, texture an animate it. Thats going to take a lot!
i could do it if you wanted. Rigging it up should be pretty simple, and the animations shouldn't be to bad. Just need to look up some reference clips of crab walks and attacks.
