I recently removed them from my server to stop people from accidentally voting them in. Hopefully I'll remember to strip them from the voting system when I get to that today. But yeah, technically legal.

I think, however, if you trans from the old Keledrosprelude to Keledrosruins - you'll get hit by the boss map filter, and not be able to join.

SOMETHING YOU GUYS CAN DO TO HELP

BTW - something that'd be really useful (maybe J_M can pull this):
Make an NSIS installer with ALL the FN approved maps. Be absolutely sure to include the res files, and that all the res files reference ALL said media to be used, and themselves.

If someone can just make the archive, and test it throughly, I can make the installer for it.

I can keep an archive of it after yer done with it so we can expand on it as need be, I've just not had the time to do this myself.

that or we can make a FULL install to shove on moddb, all maps included...default amx...patch...etc.

or maybe do that later ;)

Well, originally that was the idea behind MSC 1.1

I think, however, I'm going to do it with our first client-side release, if I can get Lord K to replace the current MSC 1.0 install with it. That way, we won't have new players giving up when the nublets see "Client DLL doens't match servers"

I also want to expand on this list with all the monster free puzzle maps. (Urdual, etc.) - but I dunno if I'd bother packaging those.

Done, however i cannot put it on my site as it's to large (95MB), where can i put it?

-All tested on a vanilla installation and every map successfully loaded. However, i could not find ms_castle, and did not put in the pvp maps.

My information.
A) Listing legit maps is good; since now I know what all I can spam for XP.
B) Replacing the current 1.0 installer with a new & up-to-date one would simply rock, do so ASAP 8)

Please note the addition of:
Meeting_In_Progress_GoW
(as well as ye old Guildmaster)

Ye can play these on FN, provided you have a guild head present. They have no monsters, nor items, and no MS NPCs aside from the guildmaster. (I may let the barmaid or some such slide)

Yes, this means you can make your own map for your own guild, under these same conditions (ie. no msc scripts), and get it approved for FN. (It is not approved until it appears in this sticky, mind you.)

And don't ask me to make a map for your guild, the answer is "no". ;) Find a mapper in your guild or recruit one.

PS. I got that rar linked above, but haven't made the self-installer due to the fact that it includes the vanilla maps, which causes issues, and it seems not all the relevant materials are in there. Considering making a new 1.0 installer that will include all that anyways, but was hoping to wait until the client.dll stabilized.

So just wondering, I have a map in my folder called ms_caves... what is that? And is it Fuzznet friendly?

I suppose, with the exploitable boss and all, we've had to officially make the old version of the_keep illegal on FN.

Ye must use the May5th, 2007 or later version.
