FanFiction forum?

Seems like 3 or 4 ppl including me have expressed an interest in fanfiction. can we get a fanfiction forum going down where whoever starts the post can be the only poster? that way people can post episode one, followed by two, etc. prevents a lot of issues regarding episode one followed by 20 comments and then episode 2. would clean up and make for nicer reading material.

Well... what I was thinking more was a "Roleplaying/Fanfiction" section... where people can have roleplaying threads and also fanfiction threads, where people would respect the author and all that jazz. Used to be a lot easier to maintain because the community was pretty small and pretty serious.

I don't know about the "be the only poster" thing. If there is no limit on the size of a post, authors can just keep adding to the first post while people post comments and stuff.

yeah but if it were possible to limit it to like the person that first posted it, it would clean up the posts

Only problem I could see happening with the FanFic section would be keeping jackass spammers away from the topics (not saying any of you guys over here are, but I've seen and modded in forum communities with many of them in it). I think it would need some moderating, and I don't know if moderators would be willing to go and moderate something day in and day out.

if the moderators set it up fairly easily, a few people could work on it. Heck, I'm even debating abandoning my one-man-clan berzerker and making a clan devoted to the lore of the land, called the Keepers of the Loreldian.

i think i shall. maybe it will be more successful than my last clan haha!

did you guys hear about the teacher that was suspended from teaching because (completely separate of his school teaching career) he paints hit butt and "genitals," and then presses himself against canvas, making a fairly good mirror image of what he painted. even uses a different name. stuff sells for $300-$1000 though lol

I am still asserting that the Art section is content to host roleplay & fanfiction events. It is stupidity at its greatest to ask the forum moderators to tag on unnecessary forums sections, increasing bandwidth (and load time for anybody who might be unlucky enough to use 128KB & down connections), and also wasting seeing space on the forums...

Just leave it all in the Art section, that is good enough... and Art technically does cover fanfiction & RP sections.

Forum-based Fan Fiction is absolutely bollocks. People come and go and make responses to other people even if they're 2 or 3 posts away from each other. Hate those people :roll:

I do, however, love making stories and putting em on the forum, as you saw in The Master Sword Tales
