For some reason when I play Minecraft, I think of Master Sword a lot. So when my friend proposed that we start a major Minecraft project, I knew just what to make. A few weeks ago, my friend, my brother and I started on Edana. The result was quite surprising accurate considering none of us are architects or heavily into geometry or measurements.
I recorded a quick walk-through of our version of Edana. I didn't stop to look at details, I just wanted to show that it really feels like you're in Master Sword when you're there. My brother edited and compiled to video. The music was created by me.

And now for the comparison images, there's about 74 images below. Aside from the block limitation, I'd say our biggest issue was we made the temple a little flat. It's not noticeable unless you compare the two games. I bet 100$ our first temple looked better, but we lost it in...
THE FIRE
Yes, we lost 2-3 days of work in a fire. We were working on the bottom of the map (the temple has 3 areas with bottomless pits) and we were just putting on the last corner of the wall. Actually I was messing with Logitech SetPoint at the time. Suddenly I caught on fire. I thought my friend was playing a prank on me, but then I realized we had built to close to the lava.
THE ENTIRE TEMPLE WAS MADE WITH CLOTH
We made a few heroic jumps with water buckets, but there was no way we would be fast enough. We watched our entire half temple burnt up into thin air. (We'll probably back up the server so we can record a video of the temple burning again for you.)
Anyway, here are the pictures:
(Please excuse the extra wool block in the first image)
