Meh. These could always be Assassain Gauntlets (if the needle were retractable) since they would look normal without the needle.

Assassain Gauntlets - Increase speed, monsters don't "hear" you (I think there's a monster hearing thing, right? Maybe these could stop that while worn), high damage.
