Since the first daragoth RP was an utter failure, ending with everyone wonder who was where and doing what...I've decided to hijack the idea and create this new Daragoth RP thread.
Rules:
0) Idiocy will bring the wrath of the DM (Daragoth Master).
1) Please make your posts understandable and as descriptive as possible.
2) The starting level for this campaign is 5, you may have an elaborate story to change your real experience level: but your EFFECTIVE COMBAT LEVEL is 5.
3) Keep all out of context (OOC) chatter in double parentheses ((OOC)) chat to stop confusion.
4) Please keep in mind that not all other players will understand your intent, and for this reason - you should use ((OOC)) chat to inform other players that you are interacting with them.
5) Control of other characters is permitted, to a degree. To take temporary control of another character, you must contact that characters owner VIA IM/PM/Email and be able to provide proof that they authorized the actions you forced thier character to take. This is useful when a heavy ammount of interaction is required - such as in combat.
6) Starting items will be limited as follows, 10 newbie items (small bags, rusty weapons, apples, erratic lightning, etc), 5 upgraded items (large sacks, normal weapons, 60-stack of iron arrows), 2 high quality items (wooden longbow, quiver of the archer, frost bolt, etc)
7) Keep all background stories within the scope of the MSC Lore, no catgirls, guns, using fate, oversized weaponry, sci-fi, superpowers, etc.
8) Your character sheet is YOUR character sheet, do not post it here. Submit a full character sheet to my inbox on the forums, I will then post a summarized character sheet as your character reveals himself/herself.
9) If you have to ask, the answer is probably no.
10) Please submit all questions, general comments, and/or requests to my inbox - do not ask here.
11) Regarding bows, you must specify what type and how many arrows you are firing. There are no walmart arrows.
12) Regarding Melee weaponry, for simplicity's sake - combat will not break them in this campaign.
13) Regarding Magic, mana will regenerate fully with 3 minutes rest. It will also regenerate at a rate of 5 mana per minute when not resting.
14) Regarding stats and leveling, these will be appointed to you by the DM based on your backstory and actions in the world...figting is not your only option, as experience here can be awarded.
