Sometimes my crossbow does not register when I fire it at a monster? are you guys aware of this

Yes i am aware of it, though i really don't care since its not even worth using anymore. This seems to happen when u fire right after reload, you might need to wait a short time between reload and shooting to make it effective otherwise it wont hit.
