Has anyone seen the movie yet? I haven't had a chance to and I'm dying to find out if it's any good, and what the monster REALLY looks like.
I saw the movie the day it came out (and lost my Japanese PSP the same day

yes the movie is quite good, be it with a very bouncy camera. There are some most excellent creepy parts. Surprisingly some quite funny moments as well. I would recommend going to see it, though do keep in mind it ends abruptly.

Hmm, I'll probably catch it sometime later this week. The whole idea of it being shown through camcorder is awesome, to say the least, and I'm glad to hear that it's worth the price of admission .

Yea, I saw the movie the day after it came out. Was actually a pretty good movie... on a scale of one to five, five being the best, I'd give this a four-point-four (4.4).
Also, it still reeked of Sin from FF-X. Little Sinspawn falling from it, attacking & killing everyone. Instead, it was Sin on a diet with arms. ^^

Everyone dies in the end, and the monster lives... there'll be a Cloverfield 2, definitely.

Poor Hud. lol. It was a pretty good movie, but I felt like yelling at the camera in some parts of the movie and telling it to pan to the left or the right or something.
I could definitely see a Cloverfield sequel...
*SPOILER* maybe from different points of view, like the military's view (cameras atop their helmets and officers knowing more than they "reveal", which isn't much).
Also, I'm not really sure Lily died... it never showed whether the chopper got away or not.
