Can't get to skycastle

Started from lowlands up, never disconnected. I typed votemap Skycastle after I beat the gold plated skeleton at the end of msc_lostcastle, but it says I'm not allowed to as it's part of a gauntlet. If I take the transition it won't let me into skycastle, and now I find out voting doesn't work either. Is the map locked off then?

Edit: Nevermind, you have to touch the transition and then type votemap.
