Hey, I know something that might help to that o: Go to your Half-Life folder, make a copy of the hl.exe and rename it msc.exe . Then try launching it.

Anyway, in Steam, make sure you launch "Master Sword Continued 1.0".

Yer still installing to the wrong folder. I'm tellin ya, you gotta reinstall Steam, so the installer can do it for you.

My MSC is sort of like this:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\ACCOUNTNAME\Half-Life\MSC

So if yours is insanely different (the accountname can be whatever the hell you want it to be) then maybe that is it

I know for a fact that there are a bunch of decent mods that use the program files path as a default, and hate people who change it
