Starlight.mp3's bretty gud. Might work for a lostcastle style spooky scary skeleton map.

I've a feeling the rest was ninja edited in and out before I got to hear it.

Got rid of the bad/unusable stuff. Only going to put stuff here I would be happy hearing ingame.

Would be handy if they were a bit longer than this, even if that means just looping with a slightly different instrument set.

One thing I've been meaning to fiddle with is rigging up the mp3 player to play from a certain time stamp onward. If I can pull that, you can have one combat track, and one idle track, of the same basic tune - maybe with just more intense instrumentation, and the music player could more seamlessly switch between idle and combat tracks.

Though, even without that, if the two tracks are consistent enough all the way through, one could just switch between them, and it wouldn't seem too awkward if they started over.

Just a thought. Close as we can get to really even driven music without a cross fade system (and even if we had that, we might need new music to go with).

Updated with a potentially done song(possibly WIP).

Got bored. So I played the first 16 bars on a Yamaha Montage 8 with the Imperial 290 preset. Note: I am not a good piano player so don't expect too much considering i only listened to your music like twice. Considering this is a recording of my first run, cut me some slack with the timing :p.

I'm glad it can be played easily on the piano! This was my goal to make it as realistic as possible.
I like the sound of this a lot. I'm flattered.

Very nice performance! I could see this playing 1x through in Gatecity after you complete the quest with Kendra.

Yeah it definitely sounds pretty good when it's played back on a synth.

I do think (in my opinion) it needs a bit more work especially after 1:00. Might sound okay if it's actually played, but I wouldn't know since I don't have the score. In my ears it sounds a little messy and unnatural but I have a feeling that's mostly due to every key being played way too hard in your recording. Otherwise I think it's well composed. :D

What software are you using?

Fruity loops :( It's all I've had for the longest time, and yeah the stuff could be mixed a lot better to sound better together. I'm still a n00b and learning so criticism is always appreciated.

FL Studio is pretty powerful. I am imagining you have the latest version? (I believe it's free lifetime updates if you have a valid license from them). I use Cubase primarily so I won't be much help (it integrates better with the Yamaha Motif XF and Montage 8 than other DAWs). I only have a very basic understanding of music theory and intermediate piano skills lol.

Yeah they allow you to upgrade for free! Pretty sweet deal if you ask me, since they're still trying to be relevant in the market for "Good" DAW's. Oyster uses Cubase, and has suggested I get it. I probably will sometime down the line. I know it's easily one of, if not the best DAW.

Oh, hey, welcome to the Cubase club! What version are you running? I'm on 8.

Cubase 8.5 Pro. Had Cubase since version 6. Although it's not technically licensed to me, but rather someone else in the house who's into music production. They use those stupid e-Licensers so I ended up getting my own copy.
