I'm finally back from my modeling hiatus. :)

I'll (hopefully) be updating this thread as I continue working, though UV-mapping & skinning are far from my areas of expertise, so expect some slow progress. As always any input, positive or negative, is welcome as long as it is constructive.

those look like some good models ;)

the scimitar looks like it would be something of a rare sword, perhaps not a normal scimitar..? but the club looks like a really good replacement for the wooden club we have now...or a different kinda club...i'll post again when i see some skins ;)

Darn... I mean yay!

Hate seeing models this far from complete though. I think 99% of the models in this thread never see the light of day, especially the really nice looking ones, which these undoubtedly are. Please prove me a negative nancy for once. ;)

Structure seems to be the easy bit, people tend to get hung up on skins, and more so on animations. :( Modeling seems to be even more work than mapping.

The UV Maps are completed for the Scimitar and I'll work on skinning it in the next few days. Now let's see... if I can only remember how to use photoshop... :p

Continue making things along that quality... and submit them... have them skinned excellently so... within time you may be able to get a blow-job from a noob of three days old to MSC (ie: some random noobs).

Just want to let you all know these models aren't dead. I've been busy with school (and the Guild Wars: Nightfall preview event :p ) lately, so a lot has gone undone. However...

Good News: Got the machete model skinned and in-game.

Bad News: I didn't quite like the feel of it, amongest other small defects, so I plan on reworking the handguard and reducing the blade length.
