I still remember when i was browsing around Pokemod and found Cyax's homepage. With some custom maps for the original Mastersword, it interested me a lot and eventually i got in contact with J-M, and discovered a lot of scripts for 1.3 revolutionizing the 'cheat map' community.
That was back when i was 13 years old, today i am 19. Things change however, as do people.

Well.. at this point, its time for me to leave, i had a great time with this community but currently i cannot properly play MSC due to hardware incompatibilities. The only real reason that i remained was my work on MSS, my work is gone, and so is my position.

I have faith that MSS will turn out to be good with Thothie as the loremaster, but i doubt i'll get to play it.
I have left mods behind me a long time ago, as i said only my responsibility in MSS made me stay.

So...Maybe i'll be visiting sometime to see how things are going for nostalgic sake, but i am officially leaving BoU, and Msc today.

I hope that you can accept my decision, i wish i could say it was not caused by my demotion but the truth is that it is. I had put alot of work into my lore and now its gone, furthermore i am not even involved in the mod i fought to promote and keep alive.

I guess the Nashalrath update is irrelevant at this point.

I know you have some modeling and mapping skills up your sleeve still, plus the source code and materials from a half-dozen dead mods at your fingertips.

Waddya need to upgrade your rig to work with MSC/MSS? New graphics card? I've got quite a few laying around... What kind of slot does your rig use? AGP? PCI-E? Surely we can work something out to get you off the ground. :/

Im not sure about the technical side of graphic cards the one i have should work with mss though.
Beside i have another issue with the game...Its grown away from me, most people are around level 40 while i'm stuck at level 23 or something like that.

I just thought I'd make a formal goodbye instead of sliding away in the shadows to never return.

Beside the way i was fired was also rather harsh, i practically had to Pm Supersoup about why i still did not get access to the new MSS dev forums, and only then i was told.. I spoke with Supersoup however and got that sorted, it still did upset me however.

Maybe we can settle for a compromise about the Mss lore and not completely scrap my lore but rework it so it fits the 'apparently' closed library of lore you possess?

In that case I'd stay as my work would not have been completely wasted.
Maybe its not right to bring something like this to the public, but it also always seems to more human to not do everything behind closed doors.

But i know what ya mean i came in just at the time you did maybe a year later, i think i was 16 or 17 when i started playing and im 22 now >.> One thing that i always remembered that was a "step up" (borderline cheatmap) for alot of people to lvl was orc_arena. But anyways i figured i would pop in and give my 2 cents if its worth anything and rep the old clan GoD was it?? lol im still level 18 - 22 i think also so dont feel too bad.

Ugh don't get me started on orc_arena. I remember leveling for months and months (like level 31), then coming back on MS:C with my newbie friend, and he hit 31 in about a month from orc_arena. -_-

The way I see it is, one of the most ancient members of the community is sincerely talking about leaving and some annoying greedy noob is like "gimme stuff kthxbye". The simple fact of being greedy deserves lynching in my opinion, and on top of that, you always do that, and you're like "I don't care about you, just give me your shit". The members of this community are all more than mules full of goodies. And besides, collecting items is supposed to be the most fun part of this game, since it's so "loot" based.
Don't you think some people are the opposite of you and care about that person while the last thing on their mind is the player's inventory?
Just like in anything, opposites usually don't like each other, nothing personal. Please try to be a little less selfish.
