yeah, i've seen that a few time ingame and i have a suggestion

how about instead of letting anybody loot anyones dead corpse, a person should only be able to loot the corpse of the person they have killed themselves
so in most non-pk games nobody is looted and nobody gets to be labeled a looting *****(insert favorite profanity here)*****!!!!!!!!!!

and maybe there should be a timing option that allows how long u are dead and lootable.... wait a second... looting scripts... scratch that idear

a skullblade, that you have
armor, that you have
calmace, that you have
their bare fists, just for fun

maybe just a percentage of their gold is dropped? or a percentage to a max amount set amount?

whats wrong dude? did something happen to you to um... make you start feeling so negative?
of course life isnt fair, but um this is a game, people play it and can at least experience fairness

its not about pking either if thats what you mean, there is no kill or be killed, its about noobs hovering around like vultures when u are fighting a monster and then u die u are looted.
its also easy to box someone in so they do die i.e. calrians ruins

a nice fun way to solve this would be to enable pking
*some noob hovers around you hoping you will die, you turn around and POW! crush that noob with ur mace, loot his sorry ass, then he leaves you alone haha*(or cowers in fear, same difference)

they're not thieves if they killed you

They're noob vultures and they like to cluster around you as you get pounded by some monster. Then you die (which is, of course, your own fault) leaving them to steal your rare items, with their filthy Itchy Grab Fingers (IGF's in short).

Then a threat from the victim follows, and if the item is not returned, everybody will hate Vulture Noob X, leading to a possible ban or even perma-ban from the server.

Sure, it's your own fault if you die, but it's not your own fault being looted.

Edit: And next to that, I always have PK disabled at my server to prevent any 'accidents'.

I always have pk enabled to stop a single player from stopping a map transition...

IE: OMG THAT NOOB WONT COME TO THE MAP CHANGE!!!

IE with pk: OMG THAT NOOB WONT COME TO THE MAP CHANGE!!! LETS KILL HIM!
