msbeta08/msbeta1/msbeta1a/msbeta1c.zip? Anyone still got them?
What I remember:
- there was this brown brick dungeon map
- there was this test map with redressed scientist model villagers that kept spawning them, playing song1.mid
- Fall 2000 release, around 8mb, NOT mastersword1.exe from the year after
- it's definitely not a better version, no mistake about it
It seems to be lost to the sands of dot-bomb time, which is why i'm asking here in hoping someone has hoarded it. Unfortunately I have not.
It's much less about 'lets find beta's there better' and more about 'recreate old hard drive for nostalgic purposes' reasons.
