New cheater in FN!

That's right we've got a new cheater. His name is Acehigh and he makes cheatmaps. I've got some screenies of him, admitting it.

Evidence 1:

As you see he says he knows how to use hammer there.


Evidence 2:

There J-M suggests that he makes cheatmaps, Acehigh says it's something pretty close.


Evidence 3:

Acehigh knows it's cheating.


Evidence 4:

Acehigh doesn't think I'm gonna tell on him, but I really don't like cheaters in msc.



Unfortunatly my internet kinda died so I didn't get his steam ID. I'll try to get it next time I see him though.

Could Thothie maybe set it up in the scripts (like with Calrain and Graznux) so that chests will only work on certain maps?

Been something I was hoping I wouldn't have to do, as it's nice for mappers to be able to go "yeah, I'll just use that one chest..." Instead of depending on me to custom script every chest for them.

There are various anti-cheat measures along those lines though for dropped treasure, and the like. JAN2007 should see a fairly extensive anti-cheat map system, as well as some protection against Ripenting, but it still don't cover everything. (Not that we could ever hope to cover everything, but it'd be nice to be able to, in Rumsfeld's words, at least "Cover all the known unknowns".)

ok 1st show the whole console sceen shot of me saying come on you use hammer, jm was trying to find out if a brush was breakable and i just said come on use hammer, so he did,

the others sceen shots i was just toying, if you talk to me on team speak when im playing ns you hear me say things like HACK omg F**king hacker and so on but i dont really mean it, all i said was pertty close to stop him going on and on,

jelly thinks i am a hacker cos i gave out frezzing scroll to a m8 beause i did not want it and i needed to be sc 18 to use it i think and im only 11 and dont want to train it any higher,

i also gave out bone blades to lower levels about 10 + and he saw me do that, i only gave them cos i did nightmare so much to get that gaunlets that i have a whole bag full of them.

i no my spells is bad i typed this in a rush,

i dont hack
i dont cheat
i dont know how to do both
i dont no how to make chest/cheats maps at all

It's true that Ace got many rare items, while just being a lvl 23 Shield Warrior and he shares rare stuff with others without hesitation, what is really suspicious.
But we can't judge only by conclusions and therefore I'll stay neutral on this case.

Well it was mostly because I didn't see him around so I thought he gave up on msc.

EDIT: He didn't give out just one Freezing Spheres, he gave five. He also gave five volcano scrolls. That is pretty amazing for a level 23.

Jelly, Tao and I were in-game with Acehigh about two weeks ago. I also have the screenshots Jelly posted, but I never got around to posting them here.

A level 23 player giving out this much rare stuff isn't just amazing - it's downright suspicious. How does he get all this stuff? I assume you guys know the insanely low spawn chances for freezing sphere and volcano scrolls.

Bottom line: This dude is god damn suspicious. Seriously.

i basically suspect anyone who has something i don't have as a cheater... especially if they are lower levelled and don't seem to be a veteran player...

he either cheats...

or um... makes all the mosnters die without gaining any exp


i don't think there will ever be a completely flawless anti-cheat system in mastersword other than the one where I stand over someone's shoulder while they play holding an aluminum bat....

maybe i do maps like ms snow alot and i have no life what so ever, and i play with high levels 30 plus,

im level 28 parry and rest of my skills at all 18 - 24 other then sc thats 11.

i have 3 hunred 80 something hp and 200 mana. i gave away 1 frezzing srcoll and 2 volcano, and i gave out about 3 bone blades, just because a pro plays a game he hacks ? maybe i am just good at the game, and the rest of you dont no where rare items are, the only item i seek is golden armor the rest of rare items i dont need, i see it as if i had it and used it i dont need it any more, i had tork sword for about 1 or 2 days and then gave it away to some guy cos i dont need it any more, the only weapons i do keep is ice blade reaven mace cals mace and rune shield i had every other weapon in game i think

Firstly, calm down buddy. People have a habit of accusing people of cheating when it's really nothing. On the other hand, there IS quite a bit of evidence suggesting that you are, in fact, a cheater.

Now the fact that you're so arrogant in thinking that you are so much better than everyone playing this game, well it's just hilarious. We all know where the rare items are, that doesn't mean that we all have a bunch of them to give away.

And "3 hunred 80" hp isn't really all that much when it comes to farming maps like ms_snow, and it's REALLY not something that makes you pro at this game. Try not to break your neck when you fall off your high-horse.

whats the name of chest which gold armor is found ? just for you that was jelly,

i play with random level 30s + village,rep and others. i dont think 380 hp makes me pro i see how i just know how to play better then running in bind, dont worry im not going to far off as you put it, also i wear dark armor which takes off half then i all ways have ice sheld on, so the max damage i get is all ways 1/4 of the real damage. plus with lots of mana i can heal my way back up to my max hp.

you guys are like your common cs player, if some one beats you they must be hacking right ? if there alot better at the game or have better stuff they must hack, tu tu tu

plus how the hell do you cheat.
theres a lock on cheatmaps if you try and make a server on fn with the map cheatmap then it will auto ban you,

i play with random level 30s + village,rep and others.

ive never done any farming runs with him and ive thought he cheated for awhile i just havnt cared to tell anyone. i know hes given two people freezing spheres but i wont say who(to protect those who sold out). hes also given away a cold resist helm and said he has a fire resist helm. i remember him also asking me if highlands was where the tork was, well i didnt say anything but he left and i dont think i saw him till the next day, but he had it. ive asked him in the past how he gets the items and he said "i do speed runs, lets leave it at that." i dont really care to take screenshots or even care what happens to acehigh. this is just what i know. im barely associated with him, he'll join the server say hi and we may play a map or two but we havnt played ms_snow or farmed any maps. the only item ive ever accepted from him was a snake staff(which i dont have anymore) and this was before i realized he cheats. you guys can think what you want, but i wouldnt recommend taking any items he offers you.

Oh my goodness, you're so right! I mean, I just couldn't possibly compete with you, especially not with:

Raven Mace
Greater Ice Blade
Bone Blade
Every spell ingame minus Holy Circle which is almost IMPOSSIBLE and doesn't work anyway and spells which I have no use for (Fire dart and other such low levels)
Tork blade
Rune Shield
Snake Staff
Fire Gauntlets
Elven Bow (Though I think I may have dropped that for weight/back space..)

You MUST be so much better than me! I mean, it's not like my character could easily kick your character's ass
