This guy joined my server with a Great Axe at level twelve, I asked him where he got it; he said from a map with lava at the gates and kept on trying to dodge my questions... Here's the chat-log.

I had a screenie of him holding the great axe & my saying his SteamID, but I ruined it when I copied & his steamID for the purpose of zooming to the start of his speaking on my server. Of course, this was on FN.

I am recommending his character is deleted for going on a cheatmap and taking an item from it. You can tell he lies a lot in the chatlog there when he says he's been playing for a few months, yet doesn't know what MSC means, or even what mod he is playing (his claims). He also says, very indignantly so mind you, that he can download & play whatever map he wants; that they are merely custom-maps & their approval on FN apparently doesn't matter to this guy.

You'll notice that he also changes his story some, from getting the axe from a cheatmap, to getting it from a fellow player. Obviously he isn't new to MSC, he knows the rules concerning FN and cheatmaps, and he was being extremely dodgy the whole time.

Well i have been paying MSC for months now like 1once every week yester day i joined a server by Net's 1337 BoU. And this dude start ranomly chatting with me and i don't recall how we got there but i said i had a Great Axe and he asked me where i got it, Well i have gotten this axe from a person that alrdy had it on a custom map and he started to actualy be an ass and demended to know the map name like i had a clue the name the only thing i remember it was a castle an the end there was a fire boss.

I know there are some custom maps outthere "cheatmap'' this is the first time i join the forums i have played so many times on custom maps before this is the first time i heard someone say that i was cheating how the hell would i know wich is a cheatmap.

Anyways is claims to have my steam id for ''cheating an lying'' i did get the axe from that map but the person gaved me it and no i don't remember his/her name.

Is there is data log where i can check for weapons that i got an from which map?

Or Can someone pls show me where it says i can't lie or talk bs online.

Anyways if anyone has played with me or remember that has giving me his/her axe let me know.

I like how Net always talks as if he has some sort of authority over FN. It's not your decision on whether he gets banned or not, so stop flaunting your "power" ingame.

J-M, when you see this, let us know of any maps that could possibly be that map. I'm hard pressed to think of any legal map to be the one he speaks of, but he could have been given it by someone.

Look, the guy isn't too bright (IN THE WAYS OF MSC, DON'T TAKE THAT THE WRONG WAY), maybe just roll his char back before the axe (if it's found to be true). In his defense, Net is being really hostile in that convo and that will make anyone act weird.

There may not be lines deleted. When I was reading the "missing" lines, I was thinking about how I sometimes go to type something, change my mind, and hit enter. Since the chat command is "say_text 0" (Note the 0) it could explain what happened.

However, if that's wrong, post the rest of the conversation Net -.-

An yes when you join a server that you don't have the map from you will automaticly download the map/sound/misc.

Second i could have gotten it from a fellow on the map with the castle.

I didn't try to dodge. So basicly someon that doesn't use the forums and has this game sees a server running joins it and downloads some maps from the forums means i cheat, so in other words i can't join a server sometimes the only server running cuase it's a cheatmap. Awesome!

Second of all i joined your server that was running to kills some npc and spend sometime, you joinup and started to bash out. What would you do if i didn't chat with you? ban me for not telling where i got the axe? Show me where it's posted i MUST tell you the truth? SO basicly i need to stop playing to tell you which map it was and i have no clue who you are.

Ok, here's what you should do to help us. Go to your msc folder (it's in the half life folder, I assume you can find it), go into maps, go to view -> details (That should put them in a nice list) take a screen shot (The button is Print Screen) and paste (ctrl+v) it into paint. Save it to your desktop.

Next, go to imageshack.us and upload the picture (It may be too big, so you may have to crop it on your own) then post the URL given on here.

I didn't delete anything; I simply copied what was in the log starting from the first words said between "Be" and me.

As for you MiB; I was merely assuming the rules would dictate him in-game; I already know I have no power of that choice. My power lies in banning him when he lies to me, is indignant to me, and dodges the truth. Even if his grammar is horrifying, I think he knows enough to differentiate between getting the item from some "Elite mission", a map, or a player.

I think there is no proof that he cheated and as you can see he has no idea of what he did.
His not so fluent english may be the cause of dodging the questions.
That's just some bad coincidence and not a reason to ban someone from the whole FN without having stable facts.

You've been far too cooperative to delete your character - but I'd like to see the map. Be the first new cheatmap we've seen in ages, if it qualifies... And if it doesn't, it'd be nice to have a new map in circulation. If I get the map I won't touch the character.

If you managed to get a Great Axe at level 12 on your own, then it's certainly a cheat map, I dun think you mentioned if you had backup or not. Send it either way, please.

It's also not as if he could actually HIT anything with the Great Axe at level 12 anyways - takes serious axe skill to hit with it.

Starting next month, an alternate axeless version of the Warboss will spawn on unfamiliar maps, so under-defended warbosses should be less of an issue.

As to the person mentioning globalized FN banning; I never even suggested that. Merely a character deletion if he took the item from a cheatmap knowingly; and apparently he knows what cheatmaps are, and if you read the chatlogs he is suspicious... at best.

I am just being vicious & aggressive towards him because the thought of a cheater playing on my server, then lying to me, is rather infuriating.
