I think players should have the option of upgrading low tier equipment to a higher tier, for example The Thornbow. It is a visually interesting weapon and would be enjoyable to use for higher level players were it not for its meager dps. I propose a new system that would organize every available weapon in MSC into a tiered hierarchy. Instead of simply "Thornbow" it would be "Thornbow (Tier I)" and the player would be able to collect certain items (perhaps a great axe in this case) and bring them to the forge in sorc_Villa in order to pay the blacksmith to reforge the item into a stronger variant. Like so:
(1)Thornbow (Tier I) + (1)Great Axe + 10,000 gold = Thornbow (Tier II)
The player would be able to repeat this process until they reach the maximum tier for the item (For example, an arbitrary tier of X for Thornbow). Each new rank would require a greater quantity and greater value resources in order for it to be forged into the next tier. For example, in order to forge a tier III Thornbow you will need:
(1)Thornbow (Tier II) + (1)Great Axe + (1)A Vial of Demon Blood + 20,000 gold = Thornbow (Tier III)
Bear in mind that this is just a prototype and is definitely subject to modification.
