Possible Fshard solution?

After hearing this craaaaaaazy rumor in game (namely Lucifer going on about what he was supposedly told), I thought to myself, if Thothie hates Fshards because fluff, why not replace all the currently existing Fshards with Generic_HolySword? Replace the model, keep the model, do whichever! It'll have the added bonus of people not flipping out because their sorta-sometimes-useful-okay sword doesn't vanish!

Unless they're horribly OP as they exist in game currently, in which case, why not tone them down some and change them to Generic_HolySword? Heck, if you need fluff, you can even say it belonged to one of those prissy elven Felewyn paladins! They exist, right?

I think the holy ability should be removed, and they should become generic Elven Longswords that can be found either in chests or bought (someday) at Kray Eldorad.

A quest could be added later where you collect the 5 symbols of felewyn and bring them to an enchanter to get an Encahnted Elven Longsword, which would function like the current fshard.

The sword, as is, is far too weak to be called "felewyn" anything but I think it's reasonably powerful for something more generic, like an Elven Longsword. It looks like an Elven weapon, too.

Yeah, but having it be a generic non-magical longsword is a bit much for req30. And it wouldn't let me make my following suggestion...

A boss that uses holy damage to punish players for usin' way too much dark damage!

Have it be an overzealous Paladin to Felewyn who sees humans as nothing but unholy spawn of Torkolath. Or at least, evil until proven good, and the sort of guy (or gal) to smite first, detect evil later. Or, even have whether he fights ya or whether he possibly offers you quests be based on your darkness level! Then just have the Generic_HolySword drop from him via the fight (rarely) or via the quest (100%).
