More Resist % than usual

The HOFR (Helm of Fire Resist) gives 40% fire resist rigth?
In that case why am i recieving 46%?
does it increases over time the more you ''absorb'' fire dmg? or the more you use it?
It cant be the Level from you Spellcasting (fire, ice, lightning etc) cause when i equip the helm of cold resist i only recieve 40%
whats causing this?

The stun resistance on a Helm of Fire Resistance, is a flat 40%.

The Fire Resistance, like most worn elemental resistance items, increases with the related elemental magic skill, and caps out at a certain point. In this case, x2 Fire Skill, capped at 50%.

As above, the helms of resistance are based on your related Magical stat.

Thus your Fire must be at 23, giving you the 46% Resist.

I have noticed the lightning resistance item at my personal current level, is at 60%, I do wonder what it's max is.

Lightning resistance ring is a little weird, since it's a ring, and thus doesn't ever need to be swapped out (you can, apparently, wear 10 rings in this game). It caps out at 60%, though there are no other worn lightning resistance items.

Guess i need to start suggesting rings for each finger, i want to be a pimp ingame... :roll:

Looking at it:

	setwearpos rightfinger 10
	setwearpos leftfinger 10

I guess it's two rings per finger... Bloody hell our players are master bling blingers.

I know better than to fux with the wear slots from experience - makes character files explode. :\

AHH, it makes sense, since i get 50% from the Cold helm since i have ice about lvl 27
And i have only fire at 23 as you said....
