Galan Broken?

So doing the Bloodstone ring quest I can't seem to trigger ANY dialogue with this NPC even after being sent there. Ideas?

Which NPC? It involves about a dozen.

Galan the Mage in Gatecity. Got the Gold ring turned it in at Olof for a PSB got another ring. Sent to Gatecity. Can't get Galan to do anything other than sell me junk. Mentioning the curse Lord Undamael asking about him about the ring using the U command all lead to him asking if I want to buy potions or spells.

Oh, Galan (me no read title, d'oh)...

He's a shop owner, so you may need to interact with him via the F key to get at his interaction options... Beyond that, need to check that Olaf actually sent you to him.

Type ". quest r" in console, and post up which number it returns.

Should also be in the advanced options, perhaps with some other stuff you may want to reconfigure.

It'll still work if you hold shift, even if you disable the double tap.

Does require shift be bound to +speed. (Think we fixed that in the last installer, can't recall...)

You can run without double tapping that way as well.
