They just released Source SDK 2013, along with all the SDK source code needed to make mods, with VR/Oculus Rift and Steampipe support. Looks like they haven't abandoned modders after all.

It's all on Github now, so stuff that gets changed when the engine updates can be given to us quickly. This is amazing news.

I'm guessing this will help alot with the development of MS:Source? I hope to see SMOD make a return at some point. It's about time it got fixed up properly, with co-op would be nice. That and I hope to see Obsidian Conflict appearing on Steam within the next year or so (I did say hope). Otherwise, yeah, it is great news!

Why do I get the feeling this is going to result in another couple of dozen dead Source mods?

Oh well, as long as it perks your ears enough to re-engage your interest... Still wondering how much in the way of Source materials the NS2 engine is compatible with though.
