as i've said...i'd like to have bludgeon demons in this map roaming around outside and maybe in the caves a little...but at the moment neither the model or the script is done...and, while i've not gotten ALOT done in the last few days, i've managed a little...

tbh its best to have wretched bludgeons, bludgeon demons are organised skilled warlocks, wretches are blunt barbarian mindless killers like trolls and ogres.

and wretches will never group togheter, i think its best to use wretched, and use demons for the bad guys's areas

i was intending on them being melee users, yes. its up to thothie if he wants to put an extra word in thier name :roll:

well its not only a word,
lets try to approve my views

demon bludgeon = evil demonic bludgeon serving lor malgoriand
almost wiped out after lor malgoriand died.
bludgeon = peaceful bovine creatures all but a few fled to dreadwind
not hostile towards humans.
wretched bludgeon = the toll of war made theese bludgeon become wild feral animals , they use no real armor, and are very powerful with melee weapons, they live in mountain areas.

if i recall there are several old screens...i have lots of spare time on fridays though, so maybe i'll get a boss chamber done and give you a near screen of that ;)

wouldt that be a spoiler?
try to hide such important areas and surprise people

no still shot can prepare them for whats going to happen in that chamber ;)

there will be a K, zB's, pS's, T's, R's, an A, mr. V, mr. A, and F. i've also decided to put disabled bludgeons in so that thoth can activate them when the patch with the new bludgeon comes.

Internal Alpha 0.12.7 (thats so totally made up, no way i keep track of my compiles - lol)



Fixed: More misaligned brushes
Fixed: Misaligned texture on a crate on top of findlebinds house
Fixed: Black textures in various locations
Fixed: Water levels in kodiak cave
Fixed: Transparency issue with windows

Removed: Light in one of the skeleton caves
Removed: The dwarf hanging around with findlebind

Changed: Lighting in temple is now constant

Script issues: Findlebind has issues remembering what you've killed off (asks you to kill the bear after you've killed it and given him the claw)


aside from that...i *might* ask thothie for one or two new critters (nothing complex, i promise. actually might be able to do it myself if i had a few reference scripts) but i'll only do that after i've got the area for them finished - as i'm not sure i'm adding it yet.

perhaps when i get home in a few hours i'll post some sceenshots of some recently added/finished caves...

todays schedule involves!

+sit around the south campus lazily
+maybe go sneak in peoples dorms and play halo2
+get home at 5:20ish :|
+cruise forums some more
+read chapter 2 in my MIS book
+figure out what i need to do in my MIS class
+put off making final boss chamber in bloodrose by making more training areas and adding detail to transition zones (might use that gateway model, if thothie puts it into snow)
+if i make a new cave, i might bother thothie for a few new critters.
+fix more bugs (they just keep popping up...)


then maybe you'll get screenshots :roll:

oohhh... so tempting to post screenies of the new thornlands transition...but its not doooonnee...its already so secksi...it burns keeping it secret!
