A Clarification about Rollback Request

Forgive me for not telling the full story about my rollback request. I wanted to avoid drama but here is what happened. Another player (2c) and I had arranged to do a trade using Calcifer as an intermediary. At the time Calcifer and I were not speaking. I made a deal with 2c that if he could get Calcifer to speak to me, then I would give him (2c) the Darktide Crest. Both 2c and Calcifer agreed to this arrangement. However, when I transferred the crest to Calcifer, he went back on the deal he had agreed to and threw the crest into the abyss. 2c should be writing you soon to verify that what I'm telling you is true. A rollback to July 21, 2017, would suffice. Character slot 1. STEAM_0:1:20574780

It's not duplication if the item was lost in a death pit / abyss. People have asked (and gotten) rollbacks for this sort of thing lots of times.

I think you just have a grudge against this MetalDude (in-game name: Seafoam) guy and are trying to get Thothie to fuck him over.

Yeah but if the item was thrown away a year ago, rollback to a period after it was thrown away will not recover the item. In any case, I got involved because someone filed an AUP violation report against someone in this mess. Now I am forced to look into this matter.

And I try to stay away from MSC affairs if possible.. but looks like someone really wants to drag me into this mess. sigh.

Is this a contest to see who can be the most passive aggressive?
I don't exactly see why you would want to cover this up so much since it's a publicly known situation now and it's really just making your case worse trying to deter people from discussing it.
It's also slightly ironic that you are trying to tell people to not get involved about this and then talk about how you directly intervened with someone else's feud.
In my opinion if you are telling the truth and are "innocent", why try to hide that? I'd much rather see you stick up for yourself here and prove them wrong.

Allow me to further explain what happened. Calcifer took advantage of my poor judgement and faith in him as a go-between in a time of duress and 2c's lust for crests in order to gain items that were not, and are not rightfully his. I gave away legitimate items in fair trade for both crests (a Felewyn shard to Calcifer for the Darktide crest, and Lord Veculuis Armor to Redneck in return for his Socialist Crest - ask them if you don't believe me) that he is now hoarding, so nothing short of a rollback, or him returning the crests to me, would resolve this matter fairly in my opinion. I thank those who are seriously looking into this matter in attempts to resolve it fairly.
