Re: Server crashes on FN/Local on map switch. There's an unhandled memory exception whenever servers change maps which make them halt, hence why it takes a bit for them to start back up. Unfortunately, there's nothing the client can do to fix the issue.

Without getting a look at the actual log, my guess is either the game server isn't able to sucessfully send the information to the FN server or the FN server is actually down and the game server thinks it's still up. Oddly enough, I never ran into this sort of problem when I was working on the...

The "party" system in MSC is really basic and is really just a name, and seem to be used to represent a guild a player is in. Basically, there's no extra experience or anything if players are in the same party.

The player files are supposed to be encrypted, and they're attached to via player's Steam by the 32 Bit Steam ID number on via file name. Basically, the name scheme goes like this for characters stored on server steamid#_slot#.char. For example a file called STEAM_0-0-123_2 means it's attached...

It's hard to say when, but hopefully soon... There's still a few things that need to be done before the patch release.

I know it was discussed about adding the game on Steam Greenlight, I think the only issue is currently, is the amount of stuff MSC uses that is under copyright (basically stolen). I think if you want to donate, the best way you could is to talk to Thoth about buying models for MSC.

I play usually play whenever I can, but I usually go on server with people that are running the higher tier maps so I can help them. I'll remember to hop on if I see you on though.

I'm currently using Firefox and Windows 10 and I've never had any of these issues. Sounds like an issue with your install of Firefox to be honest.

Pretty sure for this to get qualified as a "legitimate" guild all 5 members have to reply to the thread saying they're part of the guild. Anyways, good luck to your guild and such.

There's no backstab feature in MSC current, at-least none that I know of anyways. Titles (like Ranger) are just titles based on your skill levels, they have no affect on the gameplay at all. For weapons, your best bet is to ask other players what's the best weapon to use there's usually friendly...
