that same smearing happens for me when ever i model something and skin it wrong, so i go into the texture and replace it with the good one. maybe that helps.

i have the answer to achieveing fire arrows. open the chest take one fire arrow, it WILL crash. then open MS again and as long as you have one fire arrow in your quiver it wont crash when you take another. enjoy :D
