That error happens when you are making a listen server that connects to the FN network, and you load the game before it connects. Try a dedicated server, speed up your network, slow down your loading, or go play on someone else's server :P
Summoning doesn't always have to be about creatures, you can summon anything from etherial realms. Why not some projectile summoned and thrown at an enemy, damaging their souls.
Well, I guess that still means that there's either something wrong with the code to determine how much you can carry, or that somebody thought it would be funny to see us people going from 16ish STR to 30ish STR squirm.
If only the 'thirdperson' command wasn't a command but a variable instead, I'd be able to make it go into first person when you're all the way zoomed in, and then third person when you start to zoom out.
I think that without a shield, your parry skill is your percent chance to block an attack, so at level 1, you only have a 1% chance to parry an attack. And since you only gain EXP in something when you're successful, it'll take a hundred or so hits to get it up. Then from 2-10 I'd say it is...
How about we do some quick value testing, set a character to 20 STR, load him up until he can't carry anything more at all, then set his STR to 40, and see if anything changes
But I've had my weight full for a while, and it hasn't moved from the end from 16 to 21 strength. It's always stopped somewhere around 16ish, even back in 1.3

I know for a fact that
A suit of platemail absorbs 40% damage,
Full Knight's Armour absorbs 42.8% (3/7)
Dark Armour (if it still exists) absorbs 50%
