Spiders tend to infest undergound areas, creating huge webs that cover everything. They come in all sizes: from something not much larger than your foot, to massive arachnids that could easily eat your leg. Some cave-explorers have even reported seeing spiderwebs that could not have been made by even the largest known spiders, likely something much larger than a human being.

Common types of spider include:

• The regular Cave Spider and their young - these spiders reside in large numbers in shallow caves around the world. Travelled warriors tell us that they occasionally jump on and attempt to crush their prey.
• Spitting Spiders - not much is known about these. They choose to reside deep underground, where many a traveller has met an untimely death.
• The legendary Venefus Arachnida - no warrior has faced one of these and survived. The only things we know about them have come from legend and lore. Possessing a powerful poison, they make quick work of any being foolish enough to disturb their slumber.
