Orcs

From Master Sword Wiki

Orcs are a ruthless race of green skinned humanoids. They are a very brutal race which looks to a leader or a shaman to guide them in thier path to glory. Though they are generally simple-minded, they are effective fighters with all sorts of weapons and armor. Some of the more ambitious tribes have learned to train Trolls and Ogres to bolster their forces. Daragoth is home to many types or "tribes" of Orcs, as listed below:

  • The Blackhand Orcs - These typically greenish skinned Orcs are the primary enemy of the human settlements in the southeastern region of the continent. For several decades legions of Blackhand Orcs have threatened the people of Edana, Helena, Deralia, and the wild realms surrounding them. They are the first tribe to train the Brawlers - a relentless, fearless band of fighters who stop at nothing to kill their enemies. Rumours say that some of these orcs have been inducted into the service of Maldora, and they guard the Inner Temple of his vast floating fortress.
  • The Dimmhold Orcs (or Marogar Tribe) - With lighter, bluish skin tones than those of the Blackhand, the Dimmhold Orcs can be found in the northern reaches of Daragoth, some even within the snow-capped mountains that seperate the plains from the Bleak, a massive expanse of frozen wastelands.
  • The Borsh Orcs - These exceptionally large and hearty orcs dwell in the wet tropics and swamps of Daragoth. Typically darker skinned, close to black, with eyes that are tinged with red.
  • The Shahaddar Orcs - Instead of the typical green skin of the more common Orc, Shahaddar Orcs have a 'copper' or 'rust' coloration. These are the most battle-hardened, most cunning, and most physically formidable. They acquired their name shortly after the Age of Blood when a large contingent of orcs retreated to the Aluhandra desert and took up residence in the abandoned Shahaddar Palace, acquiring the power locked therein. Recently their leader, Runegahr, disappeared. Nobody knows where he has gone.
