Lightning Spells

Lightning spells are just what they say on the box. Usually fast, high-mana spells that deal good damage. Note that Lightning element spells are less effective against Undead creatures.

  • Erratic Lightning - This spell starting spell if one selects Magic during Character Creation. This spell causes a small bolt of lightning to strike where the player is looking. It tends to use mana quickly, and the damage is very good at higher levels. It does anywhere from 1% to 200% of the base damage, if the spell is trained on a single target. Requires Spell Casting level 1 to use.


  • Lightning Storm - A powerful spell, which creates a small Thunderstorm to zap enemies. When first cast, the spell creates the storm at a given location. It functions much like any other Area of Effect spell, such as Blizzard, however, if the spell is kept prepared (Ready to recast), the spell will sustain itself with the caster's mana, draining about 1 mana per second. During this time the storm's location can be changed by recasting at the desired position. Enemies struck by the storm's bolts suffer shock damage that dazes them. Requires Spell Casting level 10 to use.


  • Chain Lightning - Releases a bolt of lightning which chains around all enemies within range.. Requires Spell Casting level 9 to use.


  • Lightning Bolt - Fires an incredibly powerful bolt of lightning at a target, dealing high damage immediately then a lot more over time. Currently only available as an ability of the Lightning Rod.


  • Lightning Wave - Emits a nova of lightning which repels all nearby enemies. Doesn't do any damage. Currently only available as an ability of the Lightning Rod.
