Interface Guide
From Master Sword Wiki
This page is intended to familiarize a beginning player with the various interfaces in Master Sword: Continued. It is assumed that a player knows how to use the basic Half-Life interface, and therefore it shall not be described here. However, two unique features of the Master Sword: Continued main menu are Establish a kingdom and Join a Kingdom; these are simply the "Create Server" and "Join Server" buttons from other Half-Life games and mods, respectively.

The Character Creation Interface
This is the interface many players see upon joining a server. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the interface so you don't do something like delete your character by accident.

(1) - This is the Information Window. It shows the current map you are about to enter after character selection, what type of character storage (Central Server, Server, or Player) the server is running, and whether or not it is currently communicating with Central.
(2) - This is one of three side-by-side Character Selection Boxes. Each of the other "Create New" boxes may also hold a character, to a maximum of three. Depending on server settings, this may be limited to two or one loadable characters. The box will display a name and picture of your character and any external equipment such as armor that he may be wearing.
It will also show what the last transition you came from was.
(3) - This is a Create New Character Button. It appears over Character Selection Boxes that do not currently have a character in that slot. Clicking it brings up the character creation menu, which is discussed in detail under Creating a New Character.
(4) - This is the Character Delete Button. It appears only in Character Selection Boxes that are already occupied by a character. Press it to delete the character from that slot. It will ask you to confirm the character deletion, just in case you press it by accident.

The External Container Menu
Similar in many ways to the inventory menu, this menu is accessed whenever a player presses the +use key (E by default) on a Chest, Gold Bag, or other container found in the game levels.
Temporary Picture Link until upload is enabled
(1) - This is the Container Name. It shows the name of the container you are looking inside, which can be "Treasure Chest", "Bag of Gold", or something similar.
(2) - This is one of the various Items in the container. Moving your mouse over the item will display the name in the lower left window. Click on an item to take it from the container, which will close the container window, and put the item in your hands. If your hands are full, it will go into the closest container that is big enough to hold it. If you cannot hold the item for any reason then beware, as the item will be lost due to a bug.
(3) - This is the Container Close Button. Clicking it safely exits the container window without taking anything.
(4) - This is the your Gold Total. It just shows your current amount of gold carried. It is just a leftover from how this interface was designed.
